The Story of a Logo
of a Logo...
Logos have a deep root in every single one of us. It can be as simple as, you only buy Kraft mac & cheese because you are hell-bent that it tastes 100-times better than the store brand, regardless if they are made in the same factory. This kind of association to a product is meticulously and strategically crafted by the careful consideration of expert designers.
As designers, it is our aesthetic responsibility to the world to ensure that everything we make not only fills the need of our clients, but also will stand up to the test of time. Not an easy task, but it can be boiled down like this:
Your logo becomes your identity. It is important to make sure that your identity is who you really are, but also that it does not limit you to what you are doing right now, at this very moment. Your business can and hopefully will grow—no doubts there, but so often do companies settle for a logo that puts them into a box. People should look at your logo and say, "they make that really awesome pizza that I love!" but if you suddenly want to add orange chicken to your menu—you don't want to be stuck with a logo that looks like a slice of pizza.
If you are interested in getting a new logo, we would love to help!
